Kiev is the city where the modern and the ancient make wonderful opportunities for cultural and aesthetical tourism. Nevertheless, before you visit this incredible city, take your time to decide on at least 2 questions: where you will spend your nights and how you are going to get around the place.

Let us discuss choosing a place to stay. Depending on what you can afford and your tastes, you could either choose to rent a room in a Kiev hotel, or rent an apartment. Mind the class of Kiev hotels to evaluate the quality of the service and accommodation and the price you are willing to pay for it.

Kiev boasts of a number of five and four star hotels. There are virtually dozens of less chic Kiev accommodation opportunities. A five star hotel is going to cost you around $400-850 per night, 4 stars will be around $150-$500, three stars will be about $70-300, 2 stars will be from $50 to 120 and small and one star hotels cost around 25-100 per 24 hours.

There are as well a couple of hostels in Kiev for students and young people. In an ordinary hostel you can have modest but clean accommodation and several beds in one room.
