    Punk rock started in the mid-1970's as a dissonant, irregular uprising opposed to common current of pop music. Rock ensambles alike Sex Pistols, the Offspring, and Pere Ubu helped bring punk rock back in the 90's . This time the blend of fast, simple as soap rock music with rhytmic pop melodies hang around on the TV. These days, soi-disant punk pop is the main part in the world of mainstream pop music. These ten record albums are the best place to start from to learn punk pop.

    1. blink-182 - Enema of the State

    In blink-182's never-ending attempt to insult any grown ups in the neighbourhood, this record album showed a person clothed as an enema au pair girl on the booklet. The music inside is youthful and unforgettable with the massive hit single “All the Small Things.”

    2. The Donnas - Spend the Night

    Girls can play punk pop, too, and this record album is a profuse proof of the fact. The group styled themselves after the 1st punk band Ramones in New York City with each singer going by the name Donna. Download Paramore to listen to it.

    3. Good Charlotte - Young and the Hopeless

    A band from Maryland Good Charlotte with Paul Thomas blasted into the top ten of the popular music album chart with this set. It's full with stories of high school and difficult mothers. The smashing hit track is “Lifestyles Of the Rich and Famous.”

    4. Green Day - American Idiot

    After declining from their mid-90's peak of popularity, Green Day retreated to the studio to put together punk rock's first opera. Although the punk band was anxious about their fan's reaction to Letterbomb, it turned out to be an American rock classic climbing several charts and gaining a Grammy award for Best Rock Album of 2004.

    5. The Lemonheads - It's a Shame About Ray

    The Lemonheads' lead singer Evan Griffith Dando is the one and only punk performer to become a true teen heartthrob. By the way the rock band wrote down some splendid songs, too, featuring “It's a Shame About Ray”, “Download Paramore” and “Rest Assured”.

    6. The Offspring - Killboy Powerhead

    The Offspring a highly influential American rock bandfrom California were one of the original punk revival bands from the mid-90's. Time and again their songs melted with garage rock and heavy metal, but their very best music is true punk. “Come Out and Play” and “Killboy Powerhead” are standouts on this album.

    7. Rancid - The 11th Hour

    Rancid a lot like late 1970 classic punk bands as the Clash. They also use the of ska punk in much of their studio albums.

    8. Simple Plan - Still Not Getting Any…

    This French Canadian group showed up in the spot in 2002 with their album Perfect. This second album is even better and contains the hit single “Meet You There.”

    9. Sum 41 - In Too Deep

    The mp3 “Introduction To Destuction” encouraged to propel this album into the pop top 100. Sum 41 inject intelligent humor into much of their music. Download When It Rains to get an impression of what we are talking about.

    10. Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)

    Although they are revered as founders of the anti-establishment rock music genre, Weezer's music is also pure pop punk in style. “Undone - The Sweater Song” was their first hit and then a video putting the rock band in a Happy Days episode stimulated to make the single even more popular.
